1 a)How would you describe the current use of technology in teaching in Turkey?
I think the current use of technology in teaching in Turkey is not sufficient. For example, in the most first school and high school teachers dont use technology devices, they usually use old techniques.In universities, it is not very bad. Most students, for example, use some technology devices when they are doing assignments.
b)When you graduate and start teaching, what changes in the technology in education do you predict?
When I graduate, I dont think that there will be big changes. I think it is the things that needs to want some time. That is if there will be some changes in the technology in turkey, ı thinkit will be so long time later.
c)Will the new technology make your job as a teacher easier or more difficult?
The technology already make teachers job easy, so ı think the new technology also will make the job easy.
But as I said in turkey it will be later.
2 We have used some devices in CTE 210 lessons. For example, projection and computer. We also use learning management systems to reach some informations.
I agree that usage of the technology in Turkey is not quite good because some equepment and staff who work schools should be changed because of the government policy. Moreover, i accept the thought about differences between todays education media and next two or three year, almost every staff will be same like todays. When there have happened a improvement in teaching way, every teacher will see the advantages of this media in their classroom how it will help and improve their point of view.
YanıtlaSilYes, I am agree with your thougth.Also these equipments which are use the current technology in teaching such as tablets, phones etc. accustom to be lazy for first school and high school students. Old techniques can be more logical for them. In addition, For university students, this technology is very usefull. Whatever they want to be access, easily they can.
YanıtlaSilHi Fatih :) I agree with you. the use of technology in Turkey is used effectively and you give the example that between high school and universities are very different terms of technological tools. This differences are reduced by government.This is because, if universities use some technological tools, government can provide these tools for high schools.
